This cabochon is a "doublet;" see the largest photo. It began life as a classroom demonstration on creating doublet cabs and specifically keeping the girdle's thickness uniform all the way around. It's a fatty at 12mm thick!

46mm x 38mm x 12mm.   Weight: 152.90 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
