This cabochon is a "doublet;" see the largest photo. It began life as a classroom demonstration on creating doublet cabs and specifically keeping the girdle's thickness uniform all the way around. It's a fatty at 12mm thick! Dimensions: 46mm x 38mm x 12mm. Weight: 152.90 carats. |
