Here's a little Rutilated Quartz cabochon that's a bit larger than a fingernail. Large and small Rutile bundles throughout, with a sorta cross-shaped feature at upper left (best visible straight on). Has inclusions and a fracture at bottom that is almost parallel with the back of the cab. All in all, a very nice example. Dimensions: 26mm x 13.5mm x 6.5mm. Weight: 18.20 carats. |
