This perky little Mahogany Obsidian cabochon has an unusual feature (see second image). The bottom of the cab has the chocolate coloring normally seen, but the top part is a smoky clear, almost all the way to the top. I left the cabochon pretty thick so the top wouldn't wash out, but the girdle is well sloped for mounting in silver. Dimensions: 22mm x 16mm x 8mm. Weight: 19.50 carats. |
