I don't know what this material is. Slightly more brown than it appears in the photograph, it has gazillions of lighter speckles throughout and even though it's an unusual color, it's just not spectacular.

I know you don't see a lot of oval cut cabochons on this site, but I have several from my class demos at William Holland that I finally finished up.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
