Fordite Cabochon

This is not a rock. This cab was cut from a chunk of paint, supposedly from an auto maker's paint booth. Hence the name. This stuff is getting harder and harder to find. There is black, white, red, and silver metal-flake colors in this flat-bottom teardrop cabochon; the center is a bright red dot that will get attention!

31mm x 13.5mm x 4.5mm.   Weight: 7.20 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
