I first thought this stunning material was "Halloween" Tiffany Stone, but it's a bit harder. I found out that this material was mined by a friend of a local rock club member some thirty years ago. He and his partner didn't know what it was, but it looked like it had tiger stripes, and voila! Tiger Jasper! This is an all-star cabochon from my collection! Dimensions: 37mm x 27mm x 6mm. Weight: 50.95 carats. |
