Here's a large Noreena Jasper cabochon with an elongated cut. This particular pattern in the slab was long and narrow, so I mimicked it for the cabochon's shape. It came out very nice! The vertical light line through the center of the cab looks like an old weakness, or perhaps it was trying to become a red line. It doesn't look like a fracture, but it is easily visible. Dimensions: 53mm x 20mm x 5mm. Weight: 47.85 carats. |
