Here's a large egg-shaped Mariposite cabochon. Maripostie is from central California. It is a white Quartz and Serpentine mix that comes to that lovely bluish green. It also happens to be "gold ore" although I can't see any gold flecks in this piece. Looks good, doesn't it? Dimensions: 45mm x 33mm x 6mm. Weight: 78.50 carats. |
