This very cool cabochon was cut from either stalactites or stalagmites found in caverns near Kokoweek Peak in California. Kokoweef Cave Onyx is a calcium carbonate accretion from these caverns. Legend has it that in the 1920s, a man discovered an underground river full of golden nuggets in these limestone caverns (people are still searching for this river). Dimensions: 24mm x 17mm x 6mm. Weight: 18.15 carats. |
