This big cabochon is Mexican Imperial Jasper from Durango, Mexico. This is really pretty stuff, with soft green colors leading to the bold dark inclusions at the bottom. There is a tiny vug towards the upper left (it looks like a little pale spot in the photo). Dimensions: Rounded girdle; 42mm x 27mm x 6mm. Weight: 56.10 carats. |
