This is Chrysocolla & Cuprite from Mexico, collected by Benny Fenn. The Cuprite is slightly harder than the surrounding Chrysocolla and takes a higher polish. The Cuprite is nice and red, and there aren't too many "red" rocks out there. This little freeform has great contrasting coloring and a satin polish. Gloria at Wire Treasures wire wrapped this cab into a pendant; you can see it here! Dimensions: 30mm x 23mm x 7mm. Weight: 40.70 carats. |
