I like to fool with rocks other people don't want. This was probably a slice of a geode; only one of these two pockets of Agate just makes it to the other side of the slice. This is not domed like a regular cabochon; to keep some matrix all around, I rounded off the back side as well. It may not be suitable for border wrapping. Dimensions: 38mm x 24mm x 5.5mm. Weight: 40.40 carats. |
