I got this material from a student last year, and I only got a little! While I was shaping this cabochon, I slipped (eek!) and saw the patterns shift slightly counter-clockwise. I liked it, so I repeated the "mishap" all the way around and it looks like a cab in a hurricane! There is a flaw in the center (which I Photoshopped out), so this one is going into the collection. Cut from the same slab as this one.

27.5mm x 26mm x 4mm.   Weight: 15.10 carats.
